Adoption is not just our job; it’s our life. The All About U Adoptions team is passionate about empowering everyone involved in the adoption process. The staff comprises individuals with personal experience in adoption, including adoptive parents, members of a birth family, and persons who were adopted. Making that first call to an adoption agency can be exciting as well as intimidating. Whether you are pregnant and considering your options or a family considering adoption, we take the time to get to know you and help you become comfortable with the journey you are about to embark upon.

As a licensed child-placing agency, our services to adoptive families include customized training in the comfort of your home, home studies, domestic adoptions, educational opportunities, and ongoing post-placement support. For those experiencing a crisis pregnancy, we provide options counseling and ongoing support for as long as needed.

Bethany Christian Services is a nonprofit organization that brings families together and keeps families together. Our mission is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by protecting and enhancing the lives of children and families through quality social services. Every child deserves a loving family—that’s where children thrive best—but many children don’t have this blessing. At Bethany, we believe a safe, loving family is a simple, proven, lasting answer to a child’s needs.

We offer free, confidential counseling for women and men of all ages who are considering parenting and adoption for their child. We listen, answer their questions, support, educate, advocate for them, and respect their decision. Our services include pregnancy counseling, domestic adoption services, and independent domestic adoption home studies.

At CSI, we believe in the right of every child to have a childhood—a safe, happy time to learn and grow. Unfortunately, not every child in our community has a positive experience during this critical period from birth to adulthood, and that’s where we come in. CSI provides vital services to children and families. We serve pregnant women and young parents, help young adults acquire the skills they need to transition to independence, and support foster parents and biological parents in learning the skills necessary for family well-being. We work with children of all ages—babies, toddlers, elementary-aged, junior high, and high school—to ensure that all children in our community are safe, well-cared for, and loved.

Sometimes, in the face of abuse and neglect, the task can be daunting. However, the rewards of success—a child’s smile, a baby’s chuckle, a teen’s nod of accomplishment—make the journey well worth it.

All children deserve to grow up in a good home. When a child cannot be returned to their original family, adoption becomes the goal. The goal of adoption is to provide a child with a family for the rest of their life.

Adoption is the means of transferring to a child and parents all the legal rights that they would have if that child had been born to them. The value of adoption is that it provides a child with the basic needs: legal status, social status, and a family of their own.

Since 1892, Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska Inc. (LFS) has served children and families from all walks of life, helping them navigate the changes that have transformed the services they receive to ensure safety, hope, and well-being for all people. Lutheran Family Services expresses God’s love for all people by providing quality human care services that build and strengthen individual, family, and community life. We achieve this mission through three broad areas: Behavioral Health, Children and Family Services, and assisting New Americans.

LFS’s adoption and permanency programs are rooted in the belief that children grow and develop most successfully in families. The child is the primary client, and the supports and services available to parents and families ensure the best future for their child. LFS offers several adoption-related services, including pregnancy counseling and support, domestic infant adoption within Nebraska and western Iowa, adoption home studies for domestic or international adoptions, and foster care adoption. All programs and services provide education and support around and through the issues inherent in adoption and permanency, so children and families may thrive throughout their adoption journey.

For nearly 120 years, Lutheran Family Service of Iowa has been a leader in Iowa adoptions, matching thousands of children with their forever families. We are now pleased to offer the same trusted and expert services to North and Central Illinois, Eastern Nebraska, and South Dakota!

Lutheran Family Service of Iowa provides a Domestic Infant Adoption Program, a Down Syndrome Adoption Program, and services related to International Adoption and Embryo Adoption. Our adoption program is founded on the belief that every human life—regardless of how it was conceived—is precious in the eyes of God. Every child has the right to grow in families where their emotional, developmental, spiritual, and physical needs will be adequately met.

Adoption is a unique, lifelong experience for adopting parents, adopted children, and birth parents. It requires ongoing education, reflection, and participation, and we will support you every step of the way. Because of this, Lutheran Family Service of Iowa provides comprehensive adoption assistance to both adoptive parents and birth parents.

Since 1893, Nebraska Children’s Home Society has been providing adoption services throughout Nebraska, guided by the belief that children deserve safe and loving families. While the adoption process is incredibly rewarding, it can also feel complex and overwhelming. We work closely with adoptive parents to offer guidance and support every step of the way. Our role is to provide ongoing education and support to parents considering adoption, birth parents, adoptive parents, and their extended families to help them make the best decisions for themselves and their child. Once an adoption is complete, our services transition to post-adoption support, offering educational, counseling, and support opportunities for birth parents, adoptive parents, and the entire family.
